Christina has admitted that she and Tarek had been driving to set separately for months before going public about their split, but that continuing to film and hosting lucrative seminars together "is just normal to us", she told PEOPLE in February.

The couple announced their separation past year. They have two children together.

Tarek is now living in Newport Beach and told PEOPLE in March that he's now "adjusting" to splitting custody of daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 20 months, "pretty much 50-50" with Christina.

Tarek and I have been working together for a long time and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop. Tarek filed for divorce in January, but Christina has yet to respond to his petition.

Will you watch Flip or Flop?

The New York Post reports HGTV has ordered 20 episodes for the seventh season of the show.

This news got fans thinking that maybe Tarek & Christina were done. HGTV also plans to create spin-offs of the show with other couples.

The announcement of the hosts' - and former couple - return to the home improvement series comes amid a highly-publicized divorce that followed a domestic altercation last spring.

Christina and Tarek El Moussa are getting back together - well, at least onscreen. "Season 7 is their last".

The El Moussas' recent breakup didn't spark the spinoffs, according to the network, which stated, "HGTV has been developing the Flip or Flop franchise for more than a year".
