Apple Will Announce Kaby Lake MacBook Upgrades At The Event

The upstream supply chain's shipments for Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro have been increasing recently and the device's monthly shipment volume is expected to grow to 600,000 units in July, up from around 500,000 units now, helping its annual shipments to reach five million units in 2017, according to some market watchers. Fortunately, a little patience could be all that is called for if a recent report by Ming-Chi Kuo is to be believed. But, the tech giant might announce the next-gen MacBook Pro model at its upcoming WWDC 2017 event. He even pegged the chances of the device getting announced during next month's event at a healthy 70 percent. As of other Apple News, the company will launch two more iPad Pros, one with a 10 to 10.5-inch display and the other with a 9.7-inch display. Apple would be able to achieve that by reducing the size of the bezels around the screen, according to reports. Apple's desire for secrecy prior to launches is legendary, particularly in the Jobs era.

The 10.5 inch iPad Pro is rumored to feature an edge to edge display. I'd like iOS 11 to bring a Shelf feature to the iPad that would let users clip anything with drag & drop. The home button will be eliminated and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the display. It remains to be seen if the company has made it past all such. Hence, it will look similar to the iPhone 7. It includes the 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 models, which cost around $600, $700, and $800 respectively. Powering all the three variant could be the latest A10X chipset and will likely have minimum storage option of 512 GB. As for the upgraded 12.5 inch iPad Pro, the supply chain expects a late debut for the device, possibly around November.

The planned upgrades wouldn't mark a major step forward for Apple's notebook lineup, but they will demonstrate the company's dedication to a product that has been criticized by the Mac faithful over the past few years. The concept boasts a number of design tweaks, including better support for extensions in the Safari browser, improvements to Notes, Control Center, and much more.
