Trump to outline infrastructure plan that includes rural funding

"Republicans should abandon their spiteful, one-party health care repeal crusade and instead work with Democrats to make Obamacare work better", Walker stated.

President Donald Trump blasted Democrats for refusing to come to the table to save the American health care system today - and claimed their obstruction is one of the reasons he won. But during his half-hour address, Trump didn't give many new details about the proposal, which would rely mostly on cash from public-private partnerships and state and local governments.

The proposal to privatize air traffic control has run into skepticism and opposition from Democratic senators and some Republicans. The president planned to travel to OH on June 7 to address ways of improving levees, dams and locks along inland waterways that are crucial to agricultural exports. It has proposed funding the overhaul with $200 billion in tax breaks over nine years that would theoretically result in $1 trillion worth of construction.

And while a section of the speech did outline the infrastructure package he wants to sign into law and the improvements it would usher in from coast to coast, Trump did not exactly court the Democratic support he will need to pass it.

An assistant to the president, Reed Cordish, says the speech will touch on issues such as apprenticeships and community colleges to develop workers' skills in order to increase hiring and job growth. "It also means that infrastructure that can't be built with tolls, like repairing our crumbling schools, for instance, will likely get left behind".

The president spoke to two Cincinnati crowds during his visit here Wednesday - one at Lunken Airport where he arrived via Air Force One and another at the marina off Kellogg Ave. Trump is slated to deliver the speech at the Labor Department on Wednesday, June 14. Eastern Time. The speech can be viewed live in the embedded YouTube player via The White House.

Hope Donald Trump Will Rethink Decision On Paris Deal: Rajnath Singh
The decision is the biggest mistake that Trump has committed . "I am sure the United States will l rethink its decision", he said. The world is still buzzing over President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate accord .

As the White House tries to push past a series of distractions and focus on Trump's legislative agenda, the president will travel to the Rivertowne Marina on the Ohio River in Cincinnati to deliver a speech that will press efforts to fix the nation's aging levees, dams, locks and ports, as well as his larger infrastructure aims.

Saying that the American public deserves the best infrastructure in the world, the President, who made his own fortune in the construction industry, said that the federal government in recent years has spent "billions and billions" of dollars overseas while leaving such projects at home by the wayside.

"Republicans are working very hard to get a great health care plan".

The president blasted congressional Democrats, accusing them of blocking his plans at every turn.

Comey will be questioned in particular on his contention that Trump asked him to end the FBI investigation into Michael Flynn, Trump's former national security adviser, about Flynn's alleged ties to Russians, and possible collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign.
