'Will not be shushed': Sen Kamala Harris interrupted by male colleagues again

During an appearance on CNN, Jason Miller, a former aide to President Donald Trump, called Sen.

It was a frustrating moment for Senator Kamala Harris, who once again found herself interrupted by her male colleagues during the Congressional testimony of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday.

"Sir, I'm not asking about the principle", Harris says. It was the second time in a week Harris had been shut down by the Republican senators.

"But he wasn't hysterical and she was", Powers replied. "I don't understand that".

She has used her prosecutorial background to ask pointed, tough questions - and for that she is being admonished.

The dude's explanation is a masterwork of dumbnuts dudeness.

Miller said that when it came to Harris's question-and-answer session with the AG, it "didn't seem like there was any effort to try to get to a real question or to the bottom of things". Last week, she was trying to get a "yes or no" answer from Rosenstein on whether he'd reinstate a Bush-era special prosecutor policy that would ensure that President Trump couldn't fire special counsel Robert Mueller.

Pistons great Dennis Rodman headed to North Korea for another visit
Rodman faced criticism for his trips and for his description of Kim as a "very good guy". "It's not about politics". At the time, Mr Trump tweeted: "The only American who has met with the North Korean man child is Dennis Rodman ".

Even though Sessions managed to avoid giving her a direct response, Harris once against proved how deft she is when it comes to questioning a witness-and earned herself plenty of support across social media. "She was purely out there to shout down".

"It's just women who are usually called hysterical", she concluded. I wanted to clear that up. She was also interrupted by Burr and McCain while questioning Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein the previous week.

The CNN commentator and Trump supporter then chimed in: "Hysteria is a neutral quality", he said.

GLORIA BORGER: You're being hysterical. "I think it's honestly going to backfire on Republicans if they keep it up". The word "hysteria" itself is derived from the Greek word for "uterus", and it was believed during ancient Greek times that a "wandering uterus" was responsible for the "emotional" problems women had, for example mood swings or general irritability.

Harris: You referred to a longstanding DOJ policy, can you tell us what policy it is that you're talking about? You might not like the questions she was asking. But, I think she was asking a lot of questions and he wasn't being very forthcoming and I think there was a lot of frustration on the part of a lot of the senators there and it wasn't all Democrats who were frustrated. Powers jumped on that remark, pressing Miller on his point.

Men in Congress and on TV news will say what they will, but they won't stop Harris from doing her job.
