NBA Live 18 Will Feature WNBA Teams And Players

For the first time, the WNBA will be included alongside their male counterparts in a video game when the newest Live game launches in September.

"We are delighted to collaborate and make history with EA as "NBA LIVE 18" becomes the first video game to feature the WNBA's full roster of teams and players", Borders said in a statement. Now players can play as a man or female as they climb their way to the top in Career mode. Check out a sneak peek of what the ladies look like on NBA Live 18.

Marking the first time the official WNBA roster of teams and players have ever appeared in a game, each player's skills and attributes have been balanced to reflect the unique play-style of the league. Now they are doing something never done before in a basketball video game.

Two days in Phoenix, two babies dead in hot cars
The one-year-old female was left in the vehicle for about two hours, according to initial reports from Phoenix Fire Department. Police also said the baby was unresponsive when the father reached the church, meaning the baby was left in the auto to this.

The "NBA Live" series has been known for trying new things, as they routinely included worldwide teams playing under FIBA rules for years in their games.

Several of the league's stars - including Maya Moore, Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi, Tina Charles, Sylvia Fowles, Allisha Gray, Chelsea Gray, Jonquel Jones and Alyssa Thomas - had their heads scanned and San Antonio's Kelsey Plum, among others, took part in motion-capture sessions. You'll also be able to go online in Head-to-Head mode. It's good to have this sort of inclusion while also being a nice get for EA to give them something that the competing NBA2K franchise doesn't have or has already done for once.

"We are extremely proud to partner with the WNBA and the Women's National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) on this groundbreaking occasion", said series executive producer Sean O'Brien.
