Liverpool 1-1 Burnley

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the club only have themselves to blame after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday.

The summer signing was on hand to control an Emre Can pass, bringing it down in the area before smashing past Nick Pope on 30 minutes.

Scott Arfield gave Burnley the lead on 27 minutes but the Reds gave an instant response just a few minutes later.

But Klopp still retains firm faith in his men and believes across a double header against Leicester City, in the Premier League and the EFL Cup, a trip to Spartak Moscow in the Champions League and then a league trip to Newcastle United, Liverpool can be "really strong".

Coutinho was replaced by Solanke after a sub-par performance, with U/20 World Cup player of the tournament nearly turning one point into three, but he contrived to hit the woodwork with the goal gaping as the match finished 1-1. But only one goal.

The Reds' center back pairing was sucked to big striker Chris Wood on Burnley's goal, allowing Arfield space to rip a shot past Mignolet. It's hard to say Liverpool is in significant trouble since they controlled both of this week's matches but had two poor finishing days, but vibes won't be too positive after another setback in their title chase.
