Blackberry Motion with FullView Display: Goodbye Krypton

The rear of the Motion compared to the Key One below

As BlackBerry prepares to launch its latest touchscreen smartphone, widely known as BlackBerry Krypton, its images have been leaked on social media.

The BlackBerry Motion was referred to as the Krypton when it was in development. A previously leaked photo showed off a carbon fiber back, and rumors have suggested it will be a mid-range range phone with a Snapdragon 625 or 626, a 1080p display, and a large 4,000mAh battery. Further, the home button is visible with the embedded BlackBerry logo. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack. This means BlackBerry Motion will not feature the QWERTY keyboard that was seen on BlackBerry's last devices- BlackBerry KEYnote and KEYone. He was also quoted as saying the phone will pack 26 hours of battery life on moderate to heavy usage. A posting from serial leaker Evan Blass has revealed the BlackBerry Motion. Going by the fresh speculations, it looks like the device will be the BlackBerry Krypton that received several certifications lately. The phone is reported to sport a Full HD display, though the screen size is relatively not known at the moment. Well, if this turns out to be true, then we will have our first BlackBerry smartphone that is water resistant. Another leakster Roland Quandt, has revealed the USA carriers that will be selling the BlackBerry Motion. The handset is expected to release with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The BlackBerry Motion seems to feature a metallic frame.

Unlike the recently-launched KEYone, the new smartphone doesn't have a physical keyboard. The smartphone will be carried by AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, and a dual-SIM version will be available in select markets (including China). Fanboys wanted a Black edition for a long time, and it seems like the company has just made a decision to fulfill their wish.
