Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Add Bluetooth Battery Level Reporting

Google Duo and Photos are set to get massive updates, latest APK teardowns reveal

However, Google has now confirmed that users of both Pixel and Pixel XL will get lifetime unlimited photo/video uploads in original quality.

As for the Google Photos update, it brings v3.7 and with it comes a clarification about the status of the free cloud storage promised to Pixel users.

The launcher we're seeing here was made for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL.

In order to test the Google Pixel 2 Launcher, Google Camera app, and Pixel Wallpapers app, just follow the links below.

However, Google did say that the photos/videos uploaded in original quality by Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners before January 15, 2021 will still be accessible to them in original quality after this date. If you own a Google Home, you'll know that there are certain things it can do that the Assistant on your phone can't (and vice versa). These changes also allow other apps to interact based on the battery level of a connected device, so hopefully it'll cut down on some of the extra apps you have to download to actually use your Bluetooth headsets, too.

Aside from this full integration, Google Duo might also get a new screen sharing feature in a future update. There is also a slightly different animation when expanding folders. After adjusting the exposure by tapping and dragging your finger anywhere on the screen and tapping a particular subject on which you want to focus on, you're also able to tap the new icon to lock these settings into place regardless of whether you move or touch your device any further.

One of the Pixel 2's top features is its camera, which scored an unprecedented 98 out of 100 from the camera quality testers at DxOMark.

It's a shame that the Google Pixel 2 wasn't offered with a similarly long-lasting feature, but it's no surprise given that cloud storage costs Google money.

The prime reason behind this change was company's intent to maintain a sync across its mobile software portfolio.
