Stephen Curry to be fined $50K for mouthpiece incident, won't face suspension

"Golden State Warriors" head coach #Steve Kerr always has jokes ready for reporters, even after a wild finish to a frustrating 111-110 loss to the Grizzlies in Memphis. Curry will not face a suspension, but his teammate Andre Iguodala will be fined $15,000 for yelling at the officials.

Kevin Durant, who was ejected from the game along with Curry, flashes his ring finger at the ref following his ejection - giving the league very few grounds in which to fine him or suspend him.

Curry also received heat for tossing his mouthpiece during the 2016 NBA Finals, which the Warriors lost to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry was tossed for throwing his mouthpiece at a ref and Durant was thrown out for something he said to a ref. "I'm pretty sure, based on the precedent that was set the last time I threw my mouthpiece, that there will be a fine". Get the app and get the game.

"Stuff happens. I'll try to continue to be myself and show some fire but do it in a way that doesn't take away from the team and misrepresent kind of who I am when it comes to a reaction like that".

The entire Warriors squad was reportedly ragging on the referees for not calling what they thought were obvious fouls against the Grizzlies on more than one occasion during the game.

Obviously frustrated for multiple reasons, Curry launched his mouthpiece at a referee late in the quarter on the road, and got booted from the game for his efforts.
