Nvidia announces GeForce GTX 1070 Ti GPU; starting price is Rs. 39000

Zotac will make factory-overclocked GTX 1070 Ti

As you'd expect, the Pascal-based GTX 1070 Ti offers a step up over the GTX 1070, but it isn't as powerful as the flagship GTX 1080.

As claimed by Nvidia, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti delivers up to 2X better performance than the GeForce GTX 970.

"Gamers who want to be first can reserve the NVIDIA Founder's Edition version by visiting the NVIDIA store in participating countries starting today".

To the surprise of no one, Nvidia has finally announced its anticipated GTX 1070 Ti graphics card. There's a limit of two per customer, and if you're insane enough to pick up a pair, you can also grab an SLI bridge from there for $40. It fills the relatively small gap between the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, offering a high level of performance for a slightly lower price.

This means that only one SM is disabled out of the maximum 20 - this translates to just 128 CUDA Cores less than GeForce GTX 1080. It comes with feature 2432 CUDA cores, 152 TMUs, 64 ROPs and 7.8 TFLOPs of compute power. Much like the 1080 Ti released earlier this year, it serves as an upgraded version of the existing GTX 1070 model.

And the base clock speed of 1607MHz is the same as the 1080, though the boost speed is the same as the 1070. The company debuted the GeForce GTX1070 Ti on Thursday. Things have quieted down due to increasing mining difficulty, which has offset the record high valuation of Bitcoin.

Among the significant difference between GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 1070 is the amount of cores that each graphics cards able to offer to users.

Pre-orders for the GTX 1070Ti are available at the moment, you can order now from Amazon, NewEgg, BestBuy etc. Its TDP is rated at 180W, and Founders' Edition cards will require a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.
