2.0 audio launch: Rajinikanth, Akshay, Amy, others take Dubai by storm

Shankar Talks About His Movie '2.0'

Yesterday the world has witnessed an extravagant audio release event of Rajinikanth's 2Point0 movie in Dubai.

The movie 2.0 was acted by Superstar Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in the negative role.

Speaking at the event, Latha Rajinikanth said: "It's a very big moment for me".

Post the audio launch, a teaser of 2.0 will be unveiled in November, followed by the film's trailer in December. And when you listen to Oscar Academy victor AR Rahman's composition in the song, you will know why.

Akshay Kumar, who is the antagonist of the movie, was quoted as saying, "2.0 is not a Tamil film, it's an Indian film".

Music maestro A R Rahman is said to be performing LIVE at the venue. While Amy Jackson burned the stage with her fabulous dancing skills, the who's who of the film industry made it to Dubai to show their support for Shankar's film. The interesting part of the story is that the album has just three songs. Rajali Nee Gaali and Endhira Logathu are the two songs that will be launched today in Telugu and Hindi as well.

Popular music director AR Rahman has composed all the songs of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer.

At a reported budget of ₹450 crore ($68 million), it is by far the most expensive film India has produced to date.

Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Rana Daggubati and RJ Balaji, the audio launch of the S. Shankar directorial took place at the Burj Park here on Saturday.

The movie '2.o' is all set to release in early 2018.
