Galaxy S9 might finally fix Samsung's biggest 2017 blunder

After a period of a long month, the world of smartphone leaks and rumours has come back to life; this time with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9.

Microsoft is offering several Black Friday deals that include a number of laptops and PC systems from different brands such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, Alienware, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung.

What doesn't make a lot of sense is the use of 4GB RAM, not to mention ridiculously low single and multi-core performance scores of around 1200 and 2800 points, compared to the regular S8's tallies of 2000 and 6600 points or so respectively.

Samsung's decision to stop making "mini" Galaxy S devices probably had to do (at least in part) with the the fact they were often considered just a ploy to attract buyers.

Leaks used to be very reliable, but with more unknown brands making phones that look remarkably similar to Samsung's signature designs (curved edges, narrow bezels, edge-to-edge displays, etc.), it's become more hard to separate the "probably real" from the "smells fishy". More details will be revealed by the giant in the coming days. Users can easily access Microsoft applications, such as OneDrive, Cortana, and Outlook. These will come as pre-installed software on the devices.

Back in April, Microsoft started selling the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus "Microsoft Edition" at its retail stores across the US. The phone also comes with 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 3300 mAh battery.

As far as the specifications are concerned, both the devices, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus carry a bunch of common specs including the same processor Snapdragon 835 chipset.

The specs remain almost the same for the Plus version, with the small differences being a 6.2-inch display and a 3,500mAh battery.
