Kevin Spacey investigated by Scotland Yard over second sexual assault allegation

Police in the United Kingdom are investigating a second alleged sexual assault by actor Kevin Spacey, dating back to 2005.

The incidents reported to the Lambeth theatre cover a period of 1995 to 2013 and have not been verified, The Old Vic said.

Spacey has faced a series of allegations of inappropriate behaviour since actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey had made a sexual advance toward him in 1985 - when Rapp was just 14 and Spacey was 26. The theater said it received 20 personal complaints of inappropriate behavior by Spacey during his time as director.

It said numerous alleged incidents took place at the theatre - located in the borough of Lambeth - and involved members of staff.

"On Friday, 17 November, a further allegation was made about the same man".

The Met were already investigating an allegation of assault regarding Spacey against a different man in the same area in 2008.

Lebanon's Hariri holds talks with Egypt President Sisi in Cairo
Hariri arrived in a private jet from Cyprus on Tuesday night, after meeting with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades. Lebanese President Michel Aoun has refused to accept the resignation until Hariri returns to present it in person.

Police have confirmed the accusations are connected to "a man" who they were previously investigating over an incident in Lambeth in 2008.

They added: "Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating".

A two-time Academy Award victor, Spacey was artistic director of London's Old Vic Theatre between 2004 and 2015.

Current artistic director Matthew Warchus said: "These allegations have been a shock and a disturbing surprise to many of us". "The allegations are of sexual assaults against a man (Victim 2) in 2005 in Lambeth".

"It seems that it only took a male under 30 to make Mr Spacey feel free to touch us".

Alleged victim, Daniel Beal said that Spacey showed him his penis in public when he was 19, before giving him his £5,000 watch to buy his silence.
