First Warning Forecast Tracking sunshine to kick off the month of December

Temperatures will start off in the 30s early Saturday and climb into the upper 40s and low 50s by mid-afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Highs on Tuesday will be in the lower 70s.

Wednesday Night.Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 30s.

We'll see another warmup on Monday with highs near 60.

Skies will be mostly clear across Mid-Michigan overnight.

Tomorrow: Partly to mostly sunny. The shower chance returns for Friday with highs remaining in the mid-40s. Highs are most likely in the low-to-mid 50s, though they could come in a little lower or higher depending on how much sun vs. clouds. Widespread fog is likely to form across the area late this evening.

Tomorrow northerly breezes will push in behind the front; as a result of the passage coastal winds will range between 10-15 miles per hour. We'll stay dry throughout the day, but cloudy skies will prevail for the first part of the day.

By Tuesday, a cold front begins to approach.

There is a slight chance of overnight showers, increasing to an 80 percent chance of occasional showers throughout the day on Tuesday. Temperatures fight a battle to rise as colder air funnels in behind the front, with readings fairly steady in the 40s to near 50. Once the front sweeps offshore, some sharply colder air should arrive later next week and may stick around through the middle of the month as a colder weather pattern sets up.
