'SNL' takes on Flynn's guilty plea in 'A Christmas Carol' sketch

'Saturday Night Love' Cold Opening: Donald Trump Gets Ghostly Visits From Michael Flynn, Billy Bush, Hillary Clinton

In the sketch, Baldwin's Trump says he's in "pouty baby mode" over the ongoing investigations by Robert Mueller and fired National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's decision to plead guilty to lying to the FBI as part of a rumored deal to reveal information regarding Mueller's probe into possible Russian interference in the 2016 election. Also in the cold open, McKinnon plays White House counseler Kellyanne Conway, and Cecily Strong plays first lady Melania Trump.

Alec Baldwin returned to "Saturday Night Live" as Donald Trump - along with some unwelcome ghosts from the President's past in the show's own rendition of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol".

"Mr. President, I came to warn you, it's time to come clean for the good of the country", he explained.

Trump lamented that he wished someone had told him not to hire Flynn, but Flynn said that Barack Obama told him exactly that.

You can catch new episodes of Saturday Night Live when they premiere Saturday nights at 11:30 PM EST on NBC!

The fake president was visited by Alex Moffat's Billy Bush as the Ghost of Christmas past. Referencing the downfall of "Today" anchor Matt Lauer earlier this week, Bush added: "I'm looking pretty good in the NBC News division right now". "Can you believe I got fired just for listening to you? And out of money", Moffat as Bush said.

"Listen, we put a lot of work into you...and you're about to mess it all up", complained Bennett's Putin.

McKinnon's Conway leaves the room and then Trump is visited by the ghosts of his past, present and future. Baldwin struggles to recognize the ghost and thinks it's Steve Bannon.

And Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Hillary Clinton to deliver this gem: "You, Donald, have given me the greatest gift of all: sexual gratification in the form of your slow demise".

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to say this", McKinnon's Clinton said to Day's Flynn.
