Princess Charlotte Arrives for Her First Day of Nursery School

Prince George Prince William Thomas's Battersea

The little girl teamed the coat with grey cable knit tights and a pink cashmere cable knit scarf by royal designer Marie-Chantal.

The Willcocks Nursery School has classes for children ages 2 to 5 and includes activities such as poetry, acting, sports, cooking and music.

Each child's development is monitored by an allocated member of staff.

The school's ethos is ethos is "for high standards, excellence and good manners".

Kensington Palace has released two new photos of Princess Charlotte on her first day of school at Willcocks Nursery.

Of course it doesn't come cheap to send your youngsters to the posh nursey.

Charlotte, younger sister to George, will turn three in May.

But it appears that you get your money's worth, based on the glowing Ofsted report. "This enables children to gain first-hand experiences that effectively consolidate their learning".

One thing that the photos show is Kate's love for Charlotte. Now that Kate's pregnant, however, the family has moved back to Kensington Palace.

The school has been described in reports as having a loyal following of "old English families and chic foreigners" and is something of a "hidden gem" in the shadow of the Royal Albert Hall.

The two-year-old was photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, at Kensington Palace, before she took the short journey to nearby Willcocks Nursery School, where fees are just over £3,000 a term.

Tell us, HollywoodLifers - how sweet does Princess Charlotte look heading off to school?
