The message is a reference to comments Donald Trump reportedly made last week, in which he said that the USA should take in fewer refugees from "shithole countries" like Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations, and instead encourage more immigration from Norway.
An artist projected "shithole" onto the front of Donald Trump's Washington DC hotel overnight.
This time around, Trump wasn't in Washington to see the projections in person as he spent the weekend at Mar-a-Lago.
The videos were posted on the Twitter account of Robin Bell, who has staged other projection protests and been likened to a "hit-and-run editorial writer" by The Washington Post.
Robin Bell, the founder of video projection company Bell Visuals, projected Trump's racist comments on the hotel.
"This is not normal", a segment of the display read, along with messages to "stay vigilant" and "#resist".
Bell's latest installation is part of a widespread backlash to Trump's comments. An arrow, also apparently projected on the building, points to the arched doorway.
"Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?" the president is reported to have said during a discussion about protection for immigrants from certain countries in a bipartisan immigration agreement.
There has been no shortage of reactions to Trump's "shithole" remark he allegedly made during the notorious immigration meeting with lawmakers on Thursday.
His remarks have been decried as racist by African and Haitian politicians, by the United Nations Human Rights Office and by U.S. politicians from both major parties.
They said: "There is no other word one can use but "racist".
