Kevin Spacey under third Met police investigation for sexual assault

Kevin Spacey is reportedly under investigation for a third allegation of sexual assault in London. Two other probes involve alleged sexual assaults in 2005 and 2008. Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are now looking into these new allegations.

Spacey has since checked into a specialist treatment facility following the numerous allegations of sexual assault that have been made against him. Later that month, police said they were investigating a second case and in a statement on Wednesday, they said they received a report about an alleged third past assault.

The theatre has received over 20 complaints against Spacey, and strongly urged people who came forward to contact police.

The actor was dumped by Netflix's House Of Cards and Sir Ridley Scott erased him from his completed film, All The Money In The World, in re-shoots costing millions.

Spacey hasn't been criminally charged in any of the investigations launched since Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey sexually assaulted him.

Spacey used to live in London and served as the artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre, located in the London borough of Lambeth, from 2004 to 2015.

Since his initial, highly controversial statement following the Rapp accusation, Spacey has remained silent over the allegations and career implications.
