Drake gives SC woman $50000 for her college tuition

Drake Gives Over $125000 to Strangers for ''God's Plan'' Music Video

"My new favorite Drake song is God's plan", she told Newsbeat.

Deza said that the rumor going around the sore was that the music man was doing the good deed as part of his upcoming music video for "God's Plan". A drone captured Monday's surprise concert by the rap superstar. Not to mention he gave a generous donation of $25,000.

"The next thing you know, you got the crowd of students and a couple of alumni going insane when he got the music playing while recording", Miami Senior High alumnus Edgar Grant Santiago said in a message after going to the school to see the performer.

He also surprised University of Miami student Destiny James with a scholarship for $50,000, after she said she wrote an essay applying for scholarships a year ago.

"The next thing you know, you got the crowd of students and a couple of alumni going insane when he got the music playing while recording", Santiago said in a message. Hell, one dude's bill alone was $754, although it's hard to say how much was in his cart before Drake announced he'd be paying for everybody's shit.

The Toronto rapper caused a frenzy by shooting the new clip at Miami Senior High and delivering an impromptu live show - but his legacy at the school will be lasting far longer than spectators' Snapchats. School alum Edgar Grant Santiago rushed over when a friend told him of the visit, and said "that was truly God's plan to bless the school".

Then, Drake made another surprise visit - this time to the University of Miami.

James said that she will be using the $50,000 to cover her student loans, pay for her tuition next school year, and to treat her mom.

James is a first-generation junior college student from a low-income family who is studying biology at the University of Miami, according to The Miami Hurricane.
