Spice Girls to go on tour this summer

The Spice Girls Are Reportedly Set To Explode 90s Kids’ Minds With A Reunion Tour

Apparently even Victoria Beckham - the Spice Girl least inclined to indulge the objective silliness of a reunion - is completely down with the plan.

According to TMZ, the five-piece will kick off their world tour late this summer after teasing a reunion following a meeting last week.

There have been rumors of a Spice Girls reunion in the past, but this one seems to be legit.

Ironically, it was Beckham who was the toughest sell on the world tour - TMZ reports that while the other ladies were totally game, it took a while to get Victoria "fully on board".

Ever since the Spice Girls split up, and crushed all our childhood dreams in the process, we've been waiting for the news that they would be reuniting.

Their former manager Simon Fuller will manage the group during the tour.

Planning is still in the early stages, but all five members of the Wannabe group are committed to the trek and dates are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Can you imagine a Spice Girls arena tour of our golden shores?

The Spice Girls recently met up with Fuller, as evidenced by social media posts. "We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the unbelievable times we have spent together", the message read. Along with a bunch of teaser Instagrams, they released a statement afterwards confirming they were exploring "new opportunities" together again.

The last time the Spice Girls reunited was for a performance during the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Summer Olympics closing ceremony.
