Luke Wilson crash Ferrari

The driver of a Ferrari carrying pro golfer Bill Haas was killed after crashing and rolling the Italian sports auto in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades neighborhood, police said.

One person was killed and two others were injured in a roll-over crash in Pacific Palisades Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Authorities pronounced the driver of the Ferrari dead at the scene, while his passenger, Haas, 35, was taken to the hospital for injuries, along with the driver of the BMW, a 50-year-old woman.

Another report said that a third vehicle in the accident was driven by actor Luke Wilson but the report said there wasn't major damage to Wilson's auto.

Six-time PGA Tour victor Bill Haas has withdrawn from the Genesis Open after being involved in a deadly auto crash. According to Fischer, that vehicle was being driven by actor Luke Wilson.

Haas is in Los Angeles for a golf tournament this week.

A auto that the LAPD said belonged to Luke - who previously appeared in Legally Blonde alongside Reese Witherspoon - was hit by a Ferrari.

Haas, 35, was treated and released from a local hospital and has withdrawn from the Genesis Open, which is this week's PGA Tour stop.

But Haas, who earlier had been reported to be stable with serious injuries, was released from the hospital early this morning, his manager, Allen Hobbs, said in a statement.

Haas's father, former PGA golfer Jay Haas, told the Golf Channel his son suffered some pain in his legs but was not seriously injured. Jay said that Bill is expected to make a full recovery.

The PGA Tour and Haas' management company, Players Group Management, released a statement that Haas has left hospital and is heading home to SC.
