Super Mario Odyssey Update 1.2.0 Live, Patch Notes Detailed

Super Mario Odyssey's first content update might be coming tomorrow

Nintendo has released a new software update for Super Mario Odyssey, which adds the new Luigi's Balloon World mini-game. In the minigame, you either have to hide a balloon for other players to find, or try and seek out balloons that other people have hidden. Luigi's Balloon World doesn't seem to have such restrictions, with the only requirement listed being that the player has to find Luigi in each Kingdom.

Let us know which games are you picking up and if you've tried out the new Balloon World mode in Super Mario Odyssey in the comments section below. Nintendo has released the latest update for the game, which brings the game up to version 1.2.0 and adds in the Balloon World mini-game and more.

The better you are at hiding and finding balloons, the higher up you'll move in the online rankings.

You can check the shop to find Musician hat & Musician outfit, Sunshine shades & Sunshine outfit as well as Knight Helmet & Knight Armor.

Super Mario Odyssey is a platforming masterpiece and an essential title for all Nintendo Switch owners. As it doesn't rely on AI to do the job, the task is pretty hard and you should have a thorough knowledge of each kingdom so as to find all the hidden balloons. After completing one round you will get to check out brand new outfits for Mario to wear. It adds new outfits and Snapshot mode filters, as well as a whole new minigame, called Luigi's Balloon World.

There's also a few other balance changes in the DLC, mostly around the Jump Rope Challenge and how rankings work for mini-games.

The new update is free, and is available now in all regions.
