Stephen Hawking: 'There Was Nothing Around Before the Big Bang'

Stephen Hawking explained situation before Big Bang

Mr Hawking replied: "Nothing was around before the big, big bang".

In a video clip, published by Popular Science, Hawking referred to a theory called "no boundary proposal" and explained: "The boundary condition of the universe is that it has no boundary".

On your point of view Hawking said in an interview with my colleague Neil degrasse Tyson.

Some scientists believe the Big Bang is part of an infinite loop of expansion and contraction cycles of the universe.

While all scientists have been examining different things to find out the answer, Stephen Hawking has given a simple and direct answer to this question.

"The Euclidean space-time is a closed surface without end, like the surface of the Earth", he said. Famous physicist Stephen Hawking says that he has the answer on what was out there before The Big Bang. Since there is no concrete evidence about what was around "nothing" where nothing is actually something that was there before the Big Bang.

"Ordinary real time is replaced by imaginary time, which behaves like a fourth direction of space". But then, how did the first universe of the cycle came to be?

In the show names Star Talk Tv show, Hawking stated "One can regard imaginary and real-time as beginning at the South Pole, which is a smooth point of space-time where the normal laws of physics hold". Moving further, he also dictated how time was distorted during the period of singularity where it was reaching closer to "nothing" but never become it.

The 76-year-old Hawking explained that there can be "nothing south of the South Pole" as a basis for his argument that claimed that nothing existed before the big bang.

He said that it wasn't the Big Bang that caused something to be created out of nothing. But what about before the big bang? "It just seemed that way from mankind's perspective", Hawking said.

To better understand this theory, Hawking proposes to "rewind" the development of the Universe. The general theory is that the massive explosion happened 13.7 billion years ago and some agree that the universe is constantly expanding at a huge rate.
