Woman arrested on the way to her wedding

Marana police: Bride arrested for DUI on way to her wedding

A 32-year-old Arizona bride was driving alone to her wedding on Monday when she caused a three-car collision and was subsequently placed in handcuffs and arrested by police.

Young is said to have been involved in a three-vehicle crash on her way to her wedding, but thankfully no one was seriously injured.

People say it's the best day of your life, your wedding day, not for an Arizona woman.

"Don't drive impaired, till death do we part doesn't need any help", he tweeted, adding that one person suffered minor injuries in the crash. Sgt. Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted a picture of the arrest, which was later deleted.

'This could've turned out way worse than it did. After signing a criminal citation, she was released to her fiance, according to KVOA in Tucson. Young has apparently not spoken so far with any media outlets in the aftermath of the incident - nor evidently has any legal counsel that she might have retained. Driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or above is illegal, but Arizona law allows consequences if there is impairment "to the slightest degree".
