Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini with Snapdragon 660 processor surfaces on Geekbench

Galaxy S6 was a turning point in the industrial design of its flagship phone series

In the page, we see the model number SM-G8750, operating system Android 8.0, Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM. Now, Samsung might bring back the mini versions of its flagship smartphones.

According to Sammobile, it's possible that the Samsung SM-G8750 phone could be the one that is now being tested for launch as the Galaxy S9 mini.

According to a Geekbench listing we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S9 mini to pack in a decent 4GB of RAM, plenty for almost every need then. Per the latest GFXBench benchmark listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will stick with the Snapdragon 835, the same chip used by last year's top-tier handsets.

If Samsung were to really launch the device as the Galaxy S9 mini, then it could mark the revival of the Galaxy S mini series. "Not only does the Galaxy S9 and S9+ enable consumers to shoot great photos and videos anywhere, it's a smart phone that is created to help them connect to others and express themselves in a way that is unique and personal to them", said Jingak Chung, managing director, Samsung Electronics West Africa.

It's been awhile since I did a phone battle but I thought with the similarities of the Galaxy S8 and the S9 and folks wondering if it's worth purchasing or not it deserved its own piece. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has specs such as 8MP camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 2100mAh battery and 16GB of storage. For Android fans who want it all, though, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ meet all demands, offering high-end displays, good cameras, a well-placed fingerprint reader, fast wireless charging, expandable storage, a headphone jack, water resistance, iris scanning which we tend to forget, and now they even have dual stereo speakers and an ultra slow motion shooting mode for the camera.

The smartphone is expected to sport a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with minimal bezels.

The launch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is just around the corner, and the Internet is making all kinds of speculations regarding the phone's looks. But anyways though, whatever it actually is, we should know more about it in the coming weeks, or maybe months. The phones have been subjected to various leaks in the past and recent one reveals some key specifications. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ cameras are built with these consumers in mind, with a Super Speed Dual Pixel sensor with dedicated processing power and memory to take wonderful shots with high photo quality.
