Black Panther passes Titanic, becomes third highest grossing movie in American history

There’s an embarrassing shortage of ‘Black Panther’ toys

Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya and Michael B. Jordan and set in the land of Wakanda, last month edged out The Avengers ($624 million) in establishing itself as highest-grossing superhero film ever.

Black Panther is still busting all the records.

When it released in February, Black Panther literally took the world by storm, breaking box office records week after week, and will even be the first film to break Saudi Arabia's 35-year movie ban.

This might seem soon, but release windows for Hollywood movies have gotten shorter and shorter in the past decade and three months is pretty normal.

Black Panther has a whole slew of special features that will detail a plethora of behind-the-scenes information for any curious fans.

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Exhausted of having to go to Wakanda? The film has made almost $1.3 billion globally since its premier mid-February. With this much success, Ryan Coogler's next film might make it to the number one grossing film of all time. However, it has already surpassed Iron Man 3 at $1.21 billion and Captain America: Civil War at $1.15 billion.

The anticipation is high for Avengers: Infinity War, no doubt, but there's another Marvel beast, which has got the audiences going gaga! This includes Digital HD, 4K UHD Blu-ray steelbook, DVD, normal Blu-ray and other retail exclusives with special packaging.
