Pamela Gidley, Actress in 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me,' Dies at 52

A cause of death was not specified.

Born on June 11, 1965, in Methuen, Massachusetts, Gidley was raised in Salem, New Hampshire and attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen.

Gidley began her career modeling and acting in New York City before moving to Los Angeles where she stayed for most of her adult life, according to her obituary.

This was the prequel movie to the short-lived television series, so it certainly brought a lot of attention to the actress.

Teresa, a prostitute and drug addict, was first mentioned on ABC's Twin Peaks pilot that aired in 1990 and given the prominent place in the prequel.

"He offered me that role, and...there was a conflict of interest", Gidley said during a 2016 interview, Page Six reported.

She's best known for her role as Teresa Banks.

Among other works - roles in the TV series "Secret agent MacGyver", "the Pretender", C. S.
