Encounter breaks out between militants and security forces in Srinagar

In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a complete shutdown, tomorrow, against the killing of three martyred youth in Chattabal area of Srinagar and the fourth one identified as Aadil Ahmed was killed when a vehicle of Indian forces deliberately hit him at Noorbagh.

A large quantity of arms and ammunition including three AK-47 rifles were recovered from the house where the terrorists were hiding. "Three bodies of terrorists recovered in a clean operation by J&K Police and CRPF".

On the other hand to thwart the counter-terrorism operation, the locals as usual started pelting stones at the security forces.

He was taken to the S.M.H.S hospital in a critical condition where doctors pronounced him dead. "The fire was retaliated which resulted in the killing of three terrorists", he said.

CRPF spokesperson Rajesh Yadav said that an assistant commandant of the force was hit in his toe during the encounter at Chattabal. "State police Chief must answer if his forces have been feeling proud and honor in using pallets and bullets on alleged stone pelters in Kashmir, why couldn't the same police do anything when Minister was today hackled and attacked".

A police spokesman said the Srinagar police along with CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Chhatabal area in Safakadal, Srinagar, following credible leads.

"The gunfight is still on", the official said, adding that further details were awaited.

A police official said that the security forces, including the police and the CRPF surrounded the area following a tip-off about the presence of some terrorists in the area. "Is there no sense of humanity left in India?" As the anti-India protests and clashes spiraled, shops in the city shuttered and authorities switched off mobile internet services to make organizing protests more hard.

As the word about the death of the civilian spread, several other parts of the City also erupted. Meanwhile, police put Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik under house arrest and prevented them from holding a press conference.

"At about 3.30 am today (Saturday) the terrorists shot both of them dead", a statement issued by the police here said. Their bodies were found by the locals near a mosque.
