LeBron James’ 46-point game stuns Boston, forces game seven

LeBron James of the Cavaliers reacts in the second half against the Boston Celtics during Game Seven of the 2018 NBA Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden

James said after the game it would require a "real, real, real, really bad injury" for him to consider leaving the floor. The three-time champion played the first 35 minutes without a break and then endured the final eight while nursing a sore lower leg.

James is again able to become a free agent this season, with the Lakers, 76ers and Rockets among the most-mentioned destinations. James has historically performed well in Game 7s. Tatum, who was not called for a foul, did not display any adverse effects, and played for the remainder of the game.

Hopefully Love is able to return to the game despite the injury. Tonight's game is in Boston.

Thankfully, the Cavaliers' role players made up for the absence of Love.

After a big night in Game 1 - finishing with 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting - the Cavs have held him in check, averaging 10.8 points on 36 percent shooting over the next five contests.

James has been simply incredible during these playoffs, averaging 33.9 points per game (most in the playoffs) and has scored at least 40 points on seven different occasions. Hill will be an X-factor in game 7. "Two teams have to come out and play".

James weathered an early storm by the visiting C's, and took over the game by playing point-center with an energetic, defensively active reserve-heavy second unit early in the second quarter.

Macron: Ireland makes history with abortion vote
From morning, however, it has seemed clear that overnight predictions of a massive vote for constitutional change were accurate. Initially, polls showed a strong lead for the repeal campaign, but as polling day approaches, that lead has narrowed.

But coach Tyronn Lue was impressed with how his team responded in Game 6 and expects a similar performance, should Love be sidelined in Game 7. Green saw 31 minutes of action, scoring 14 points and adding three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

"[Horford] was really productive in the first quarter".

The Boston Celtics, who have played from in front the entire series, have proven they aren't just a team of the future, but a team of the present.

Although Boston remains unbeaten at home in the playoffs, the Celtics know they can't afford to be complacent against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are fighting for their playoff lives in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics. When he made another game-winning field goal in Game 3 in the subsequent round against the Toronto Raptors - his end-to-end race, with a high-difficulty floater that banked in off the glass at a preposterous angle - he did a victory lap to soak in the sound. "We'll be ready to go on Sunday". They also had 13 turnovers, while Cleveland had only nine. He didn't come back, and guys got together and they played. They just can't let his supporting cast get into a rhythm, too. The Celtics took just 74 shots, while the Cavs put up 87.

Losing one of those final two games of that series would have led to wholesale changes in Miami; instead, the Heat went on to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games to capture the first title of James's career. The Celtics are 3-0 at home in the series and 9-0 at home overall this postseason.

The home team has won every game in this series, so Celtics fans are feeling confident about their team's chances of closing the series and reaching the NBA Finals.
