Kanye West Offers His Condolences To Kate Spade's Family

The designer's sister said she was obsessed with Robin Williams' 2014 suicide.

Police said a housekeeper found Spade hanging from a red scarf tied to a doorknob in her bedroom. Interestingly, Andy was reportedly at the home when his wife's body was found.

Born Kate Brosnahan, she achieved fame in the fashion world under the name Kate Spade.

Her family said in a statement, "We are all devastated... we loved Kate dearly and will miss her terribly". This is not your fault.

One of Spade's sisters, Reta Saffo, told the New York Daily News that the suicide didn't come as a surprise.

"She was definitely anxious about what people would say if they found out", claimed Saffo. "Sometimes you simply can not SAVE people from themselves!" she wrote.

"I, personally, I don't know about Andy - took off a good nine years raising my daughter and absolutely adored every moment of it", Spade said last April.

Tesla (TSLA) rallies ~10% on Elon Musk’s confidence as the shorts scramble
A battery factory in China, in addition to expanding production, could allow Tesla to avoid import tariffs there. This was in spite of some stakeholders raising concern that a board with these directors lacked independence.

"I think they [her friends] want people to know she really did pave the way for a lot of what's happening in fashion today", Zee said. Spade seemed concerned how hospitalization might harm the image of the "happy-go-lucky" Kate Spade brand, she said.

"Fuzzy picture but I love it. Kate and I during Christmas family photos". The comedian shared multiple photos of the two smiling together, describing the designer as "so sharp and quick on her feet".

One of those leaving a tribute was Ivanka Trump, who posted a touching tribute to Kate on her Instagram page.

Saffo, who is two years older than her famous sibling and lives in New Mexico, added that she'd flown to NY several times in the past three to four years in an attempt to convince Spade to seek in-patient hospitalisation and that Andy Spade had supported those efforts. The entrepreneurial spirit and husband-wife partnership paid off, as Kate received the Best Accessory Designer of the Year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and launched her line in several department stores. "But she'd go on to build this incredible empire". "Please!'", Saffo said. "I know she perhaps had a plan, but she insisted she did not".

Although she had a hugely successful business, Spade's sister Reto Saffo has admitted her suicide didn't come as a shock to her because she's been battling with severe depression for years and refused to seek any medical help for it. "Everyone loves to get a letter", Spade told the AP in 2006, explaining that she never used computers and had her staff print out emails.
