Three Youtube Travel Vloggers Die after Falling over Huge Waterfall

Numerous emergency personnel and vehicles have swarmed the parking lot at Shannon Falls Provincial Park

Gamble, Lyakh, and Scraper were part of the High on Life travel vlog that has more than 1.5 million followers combined on Instagram and YouTube.

According to the BBC, police said they died while swimming after they "slipped and fell into a pool 30m below". "They were three of the warmest, kindest, most driven and outgoing people that you could ever meet and the world has lost a great deal of light with their passing".

Other members of the group have released a tribute video where they said: "There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and the devastation we are all going through right now".

Rescuers are still trying to piece together the events that led to the deaths of three adventure-seekers in British Columbia but by most accounts it appears two men died while trying to save a woman from being swept over a treacherous waterfall. The RCMP and the Squamish Search and Rescue (SAR) have since been attempting to recover the bodies from the pool. Scraper, who was Lyakh's girlfriend, slipped and fell from the top of the falls into the water below, according to the CBC.

Gamble and Lyakh, along with friend Parker Heuser, produced a popular Youtube channel called High on Life.

A family member of the travel vlogger confirmed to The Associated Press that he was killed at Shannon Falls on Thursday.

They began making videos in high school and maintained their friendships despite attending separate universities.

They are known for posting death-defying videos on their page - including one titled, "Epic Cliff Jumping and Waterfall Slide (EXTREME DANGER)".

A search and rescue effort underway in Squamish to locate three people who reportedly went over Shannon Falls and failed to resurface in Squamish, July 3, 2018.

The springs are off limits to visitors due to its delicate ecosystem. The three were then swept by the current and plummeted about 100 feet into the waterfall's lower pool.

Gamble is a controversial blogger who got in trouble in 2016 when his group walked through a protected volcanic area in Yellowstone National Park. He spent seven days in prison. They were ordered to pay fines and served a week in jail. When standing at the face of such natural wonder, we were drawn to it.
