Manchester United consider making £65m bid for Harry Maguire

Manchester City- 50/1

Maguire impressed for England at the World Cup this summer.

Manchester United fans probably aren't too positive about the Premier League season ahead but their could be some good news for them as odds on a new signing have dramatically dropped.

And that solid form out in Russian Federation means Manchester United have come calling.

With Manchester City having a 19 point head start based on last season and Liverpool having the best transfer window of the top six, if not the entire league, United fans will be viewing the season with a little trepidation.

United have also signed Lee Grant from Stoke City as a back-up goalkeeper, and teenage full-back Diogo Dalot from Porto, though the Portuguese defender has only mustered a handful of first-team appearances.

President Trump Has Muddled Message on Russian Meddling
Kosachev also said if the summit turns out to be a failure, it won't be the fault of Putin or Trump. However, Mr Putin said "powerful" USA forces were trying to sabotage what the summit had achieved.

Could Harry Maguire arrive at Old Trafford?

A new centre-back is seemingly on the agenda as doubts continue over Chris Smalling and Phil Jones while there is interest being shown in Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly so it looks like Mourinho is ready to revamp his defensive options.

Chelsea have entered the race to sign Manchester United star Anthony Martial, according to the Times (h/t ESPN).

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise since coming through the ranks at Sheffield United as he made his name during a three-year spell at Hull City before making a £17m move to the King Power last summer.

However, ESPN also claimed that Mourinho would be happy to let Martial go, though he may have to persuade United's Executive Vice-Chairman, Ed Woodward, who is supposedly leaning towards keeping the France global.
