Nerve agent attack victim discharged from hospital

Police teams comb Queen Elizabeth Gardens and the banks of the River Avon in Salisbury

Nerve agent victim Charlie Rowley, 45, was released from Salisbury District Hospital after three weeks of treatment since being poisoned to Novichok last month.

The mother-of-one died in Salisbury District Hospital on July 8 after battling for life for nine days in intensive care. The pair was contaminated in the town of Amesbury in southwestern England, not far from the city of Salisbury, where Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned with Novichok in March.

It's thought Dawn and partner Charlie were infected after finding a bottle used in that attack.

Police found the bottle at Rowley's home in Amesbury.

Russian Federation has strongly denied involvement in the Skripal attack, sparking a row that has led to tit-for-tat diplomatic expulsions between Britain and its allies and Moscow.

She said Public Health England has determined that Rowley "poses no risk to the public" now that he is out of the hospital.

Kier Pritchard of Wilshire Police said on Twitter on Friday afternoon.

But the 44-year-old British woman was actually applying a Soviet-era nerve agent that had previously sickened a former Russian spy and his daughter, three sources briefed on the United Kingdom poisoning investigation told CNN on Thursday.

Trump hails summit with Putin "a very good start"
Sen. "[The] posture of President Trump on Crimea is well known, and he stands firmly by it". You got me, '" said Trump, invoking a television detective.

Detectives are investigating the possibility - described by Mr Rowley's brother - that Ms Sturgess tested the spray on her face and hands, believing it to be perfume.

In the early hours, police declare a "major incident" after revealing that Ms Sturgess and Mr Rowley have been exposed to an "unknown substance".

It is understood she was exposed to at least 10 times the amount of nerve agent the Skripals came into contact with.

Earlier it was reported that the British investigators had identified suspects that had attacked former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

After the attack on the Skripals, allies in Europe and the United States sided with Britain's view of the attack and ordered the biggest expulsion of Russian diplomats since the height of the Cold War.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will analyse the substance before reporting back its conclusions.

According to reports from U.S security officials, police have recovered grainy CCTV images of persons of the possible Kremlin-backed assignation squad who inadvertently killed Dawn.
