Despite its popularity, the dance challenge has been criticized for serving as a risk to road safety (as is wont to happen when one jumps out of a moving vehicle to dance).

The challenge became a trend after comedian Shiggy posted a video of him dancing to the song on Instagram. "Are you riding? Say you'll never ever leave from beside me "cause I want you and I need you, and I'm down for you always", from Canadian rapper Drake's song 'In My Feelings".

The Chandigarh police has warned young people against taking the Kiki dance challenge.

It was started by Instagram comedian Shiggy who shared a video on his show "The Shiggy Show", dancing by a vehicle on the road to Drake's hit song.

The latest risky Internet trend shows people filming themselves getting out of cars and dancing to Drake's "In My Feelings".

Spanish police have too warned about the craze.

The challenge involves a slow moving auto and those on the passenger front seat, jumping out and dancing with the door open in sync with Drake's song, while the video is recorded. Norwood said he planned to do the dance, jump on the hood of the vehicle and continue dancing.

Norwood escaped with just a few scrapes and bruises on his arms.

Lately, TV celebrities like Nia Sharma, Nora Fatehi and many others took this challenge and grooved to the beats of In my feelings.

One video shows a dancing woman's handbag being stolen. After which the trend is also known as In My Feelings challenge or "doing the Shiggy".

Even the Bengaluru Police had cautioned people against taking part in the challenge.

Instagram user theshiggyshow started the popular dance challenge after posting his choreographed dance moves to the song online, according to Fox 8.
