Jorginho is key and Eden Hazard could be No 9 for Sarri-ball says Danny Higginbotham

As one of the most talented play-making wingers in the world, Hazard was linked to Madrid as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who shocked the soccer world by signing with Italian giants Juventus in July.

Newcastle, however, have just one point from their three games, yet Benitez remains optimistic and refused to apologise for his approach to the game.

Benitez clearly would have been content with a point but his defensive tactics were not enough to prevent the Blues from maintaining their ideal start to the Premier League season.

A game that had three goals in the final 11 minutes and plenty of drama at both ends, Maurizio Sarri's revitalised Chelsea side came away with a hard-fought three points at a ground that has caused them so much disappointment in the past.

Although it may not have been as fluid as his Napoli side last season, Chelsea's new boss has certainly improved the atmosphere in West London.

'But I'm not complaining, I try to do my job and when you have the ball, you get kicked, so no complaints. When you are Newcastle United you have to manage in a different way because you are in the Premier League.

Manafort juror says 1 holdout prevented 18-count conviction
NPR's national justice correspondent Carrie Johnson is with us to talk through the Manafort verdict and what comes next from that. A spokesman for the special counsel's office and a spokesman for Manafort did not immediately return messages seeking comment.

Significantly, though, most fans have backed their manager, who in turn pointed out that the Magpies finished tenth last season, with the best goal difference of any team in the bottom 11 in the Premier League.

Clattenburg stated that he understood why opinion was split over the decision and claimed that even with VAR being used then there still would have been a debate had as it wouldn't have helped provide a definitive answer.

"I remember a long time ago, I don't know if it was when Guardiola was at Barcelona, but they had 80pc (possession) against Celtic and they lost".

"Possession is just for the TV, for the stats, it means nothing".

"We knew that it would be a hard game for us, especially for us, but for every team".

"We did well, created a lot of chances and we deserved to win". Everyone has their own tools'.
