Cardi B gets summons but didn't hurt anyone: lawyer

Rapper Cardi B is assisted by security guards as she leaves a police precinct Monday Oct. 1 2018 in the Queens borough of New York. The rapper met with police as part of an investigation of her possible involvement in a fight at a strip club

The incident is reported to have happened on August 29 during a Migos performance at the club which Cardi attended. There, two sisters, identified as Jade and Baddie Gi, worked as bartenders.

Cardi B was photographed with a bump on her forehead.

She faces charges that include two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and one count of third-degree assault, according to Sergeant Brendan Ryan, a spokesman for the New York Police Department.

Previously, the Bodak Yellow rapper had denied being involved in the violent attack on the two bartenders who continued to accuse her on social media nevertheless.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, will turn herself in to police in Flushing, sources confirmed to PIX11.

The "I Like It" songstress later took to Instagram to imply that the older Minaj had questioned her parenting skills. She also touched on the Angels altercation, accusing Cardi of ordering the attack on the two women. She was not arrested when she surrendered, but did receive a summons to appear in court.

She and Minaj have been rap rivals since Cardi B began achieving huge success over the past year. She turned herself in to the 109 precinct this morning.

Lawyer Jeff Kern said outside a Queens police station on Monday that he's "aware of no evidence" that Cardi B "caused anybody any harm". She performed several hits on her latest album at the Global Citizen Festival on Saturday night in New York's Central Park.
