Arsenal boss Emery hails players for Fulham thrashing: Everyone important

Two goals each from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led rampant Arsenal to a 5-1 thrashing of Fulham in the English Premier League on Sunday.

"I am just thinking about the next match at the Emirates, with our supporters".

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has expressed confidence that the fears will not happen because the Gunners will be able to cash in on the player by January.

"We need to be more solid and more competitive if you want to be honest".

Ramsey then played in Aubameyang in stoppage time as he tucked away his second of the game to leave Fulham shellshocked and down in 17th spot with just a solitary league win.

"Now we have to keep this mentality".

"The most important thing here is not that Torreira is the best player on the pitch, or that any other is the best, but what matters is that we win and keep growing as a team", Torreira said.

Usually I don't like to look back.

Fulham's back three looked exposed with every Arsenal attack and only fine work from Marcus Bettinelli stopped Alex Iwobi tapping home a second, but they snatched an equaliser a minute before half-time, Schurrle clipping a fine first-time finish over Leno after a good Luciano Vietto pass. Every match is different, every match is hard. The players like Aubameyang, Aaron Ramsey and Matteo continued to help us with their quality. "Now we have the worldwide break, and then some important games will come, so it's important for us to continue in this way".

Asked about the playmaker's injury, Emery replied: 'Yesterday he came in with pain and he could not train or play today'.

Every global break is important also for the national team, for the players who want to join up with their team and defend their team, and for us to continue working with more calm.

Today they are repeating the match like Thursday, Monreal, Holding, Iwobi, Welbeck. I want to give them and to show them we are improving with our quality, with our mentality and above all with commitment, we had here.
