Keep Jimmy Butler away from the Lakers

Jimmy Butler, reporting to Timberwolves practice Wednesday, participated in a team scrimmage in which he challenged his teammates, coaches and Minnesota's front office, according to an ESPN report, including a memorable outburst directed at GM Scott Layden. When the two-way star originally requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Portland Trail Blazers were reported to be among several teams interested in acquiring him. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Butler teamed up with the reserves and took on the starters in scrimmages, humiliating the starters.

The Timberwolves have had talks with several teams since Butler made the request - including Miami - and almost got a deal done with the Heat over the weekend. I'm OK. I know the truth, I know what I did, I know who I am to my core. With Taylor upfront about his desire to make a quick deal for Butler, one meeting attendee said, "The owner's trading him".

Departing from Seoul, . he arrived in Beijing on Monday afternoon. "Brilliantly selling the same horse twice". Moon also said there was a possibility of Kim holding a summit with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe.

I mean, just how much of a clown are you if Gar Forman wins a trade? Like it or not, it wasn't just then, so we can put that to rest.

Miami had softened on including guard Josh Richardson in versions of a possible deal for Butler, only to recoil once Minnesota pushed late for a sweeter return on the four-time All-Star, league sources said. But Jimmy Drama said it wasn't about the money. "It's about saying, 'We need you". The team hasn't followed through yet, but may feel the heat to get something done with more practices like this one. We want you here. Some would argue that those same things could be said about LeBron James, and perhaps that's part of the reason Butler doesn't want to align with James. You don't say now it's between Boston and Miami. And when it came to that point, it was like I let y'all know what the deal was as soon as you traded for me. "I don't think it's distracting me, but maybe it is distracting some other guys".
