Melania Trump Claims Donald Trump Cheating Rumors Are Just Gossip

Melania Trump

First lady Melania Trump said that she has "much more important things" to focus on than the alleged infidelities of her husband, President Donald Trump.

First lady Melania Trump gives an interview to ABC News' Tom Llamas.

The first lady, who just returned from Africa on her first solo trip, was asked if the alleged affairs have put a strain on their marriage.

Mrs Trump insisted that talk about her husband's alleged infidelities do not concern her, despite him being accused of many affairs.

When asked if she still has a good marriage and if she loves her husband, she replied, "Yes, we are fine".

"I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage and circulate the gossip", she said, "but I understand that the gossip sells newspapers, magazines getting advertisers and unfortunately, we live in this kind of world today".

"One of them - if you really see what people [are] saying about me".

When asked why he made that claim, she responded, "I don't know".

Twitter users aren't feeling so sympathetic.

The president has denied porn star Stormy Daniels' allegations that she had a fling with the future commander-in-chief more than a decade ago - though he has admitted reimbursing Michael Cohen, his former personal attorney, a $130,000 hush payment.

"She believes her husband, and she knows it's untrue", Giuliani said then.

"It's what media speculate", she concluded, "and it's gossip.

I know", she adds, pointedly. "It's not always correct stuff", she added in the clip released Friday.

She said: 'Media what is speculating, yeah.

Llamas tried to get her to tell America if she has been hurt by her husband. "You need to ask him". Melania Trump was in the country to promote her Be Best initiative, which specifically addresses online bullying.
