Fossil Sport is the brand's first smartwatch to use Snapdragon Wear 3100

Fossil launches Fossil Sport, a Wear OS smartwatch running the Snapdragon 3100 - GSMArena.com news

Fossil has a new smartwatch built with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip. You can choose between a 41mm or 43mm case, and the nylon case with aluminum top ring makes for a lightweight watch. Well, the watch comes with interchangeable straps and bracelets in 18mm and 22mm sizes and is compatible with iOS and Android and can be connected via Bluetooth technology. As I written above it is powered with the hot new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 Soc. The new watch is also packed with features such as ambient mode, integrated heart rate sensor, and a 350 mAh battery which is notified to provide full day backup.

The $255 Sport runs Wear OS and follows the Montblanc Summit 2, the only other smartwatch housing the latest chipset, which Fossil indicates will help to extend the Sport's battery life past 24 hours.

The watch will be priced at $255 (or around $351.79 AUD) or £249 in the United Kingdom and is available to pre-order in the United Kingdom and USA with shipping set to begin on November 12th.

The real challenge for the Fossil Sport won't be endurance, though.

It was released by Fossil on Thursday and this watch is called as Fossil Sport. It will be part of a new campaign led by model, marathoner, and entrepreneur Candice Huffine.

The watchmaker unveiled the Fossil Sport, a $255 smartwatch that comes in six different colors - gray, pink, red, blue, green, and black.

Fossil has created three hero watch faces for its first Snapdragon 3100 watch, which integrates Google Fit to display progress towards two new activity goals: Move Minutes and Heart Points. The Fossil Sport Smartwatch is already available online and at partnered retail stores in the US. The watch comes pre-installed with Spotify and an emergency services app.
