Forest Service releases video of gender reveal explosion that caused wildfire

A newly released video shows a gender reveal party that sparked a wildfire past year in Arizona.

Dickey and his wife had planned out a novel way to let their guests know the gender of their upcoming baby: Dickey was supposed to fire a rifle at a target which would emit either blue or pink powder: blue powder would indicate a boy, and pink would indicate a girl. He also agreed to pay more than $8 million in restitution.

Let this be a lesson: End gender reveal parties.

Dickey shot the target, causing it to explode and start a fire that spread and resulted in the wildfire, the Department of Justice said.

Woman reportedly killed boyfriend, made traditional dish with his remains
During questioning, the woman's friend claimed to have not witnessed the crime but did notice blood stains in her home. Tests reportedly showed that DNA from the tooth and other samples taken from the blender matched the missing lover.

In the video, which was taken by a party attendee and later released to The Arizona Daily Star, the sound of a gunshot is heard before the target explodes. A male voice twice shouts "Start packing up!"

One of the commenters where the video is posted on YouTube, wrote, "I feel bad for the poor baby boy who's inheriting those genes".

On April 23, 2017, the day the fire started, the Hopkins weather station not far from where the fire began near Madera Canyon, recorded a high temperature of 80 degrees, 11 miles per hour WSW winds gusting to 25, and 6 percent relative humidity. If correct, this would put the temperature at the fire origin between 90 and 100 degrees.

Dickey must serve five years' probation and make a public announcement about the cause of the fire, under the conditions of his plea agreement.
