Ariana Grande releases new song and music video

Fittingly, Grande and her pals are dripping in jewelry in the clip, although not all of it is as high-priced as those titular rings: The Alessandra Rich crystal drop earrings the star wears in her space buns instead of on her ears, for instance, are now on sale for $350, while her giant crystal hoop earrings from Lace by Tanaya are a relative steal at $90.

"The singer dropped her second single late last night (Jan. 17) and though the majority of fans are loving it, there are others on Twitter who think the flow of the track sounds a lot like Soulja Boy's hit 2010 song, Pretty Boy Swag".

Ariana Grande has released a new song and an accompanying music video.

She spins Julie Andrews' original ode to appreciating the little things into a big-spending-as-therapy bop.

Fearing for Saudi teen’s safety, Canada refugee agency hires guard
She said she hoped her story would act as an inspiration for other women in Saudi Arabia oppressed by the guardianship laws. She said she wants to be independent, travel and make her own decisions on education, on a career and who she will marry.

Prior to releasing the song on Friday, Grande gathered a majority of her seven friends together for a celebration, in which they proudly showed off the sparkling jewels on their fingers.

"I guess "Thank U, Next" is more vulnerable and gentle lol", she wrote.

Grande first opened up about the inspiration behind "7 rings" in her Billboard " Woman of the Year" cover story in December. "That's why we have these, and that's where the song idea came from". The "7 Rings" in the title refer to how Grande bought matching diamond rings for her and six of her best friends.
