Go vegan and get Beyonce/Jay-Z tickets for life

Beyonce, Jay-Z offer lifetime concert tickets for fans who go vegan

Is this a celebrity fad?

Research has shown that cutting meat and dairy products can boost the planet's health by reducing farmland use and planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions.

Beyonce has been working with 22 Day Nutrition's Marco Borges for years.

The Greenprint website, where people can enter the sweepstakes, offers ways people can switch things up, including "meatless Mondays", eating two plant-based meals a day or eating plant-based at work. Participants only have to start (or continue) taking a plant-based approach to their daily life in some capacity to be eligible to win the grand prize.

The answer could be huge, as research released this week showed a vegan diet was the most beneficial for balancing blood sugar, maintaining a healthy weight, and populating the gut with good hormones.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are about to find out again just how influential they are through a new campaign that urges people to take up the vegan lifestyle.

According to the Guardian, the contest seeks to "capitalize" on veganism's contribution to the effort to "save the environment", as some believe eating plant-based foods somehow aids fighting climate change - a controversial and debatable idea in and of itself.

Many fans, of course, were eager for the opportunity to be crowned Beyoncé's star vegan.

On 31 January, Beyonce and Jay-Z announced a contest, set up by a vegan meal service called 22 Days Nutrition.

The power couple of music, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are offering their biggest and most devoted fans the chance of a lifetime: free tickets for the rest of their lives.

They wrote having children is what brought them to adopt a vegan lifestyle.
