Ariana Grande Reportedly Cancels Grammys Gig After Producers

Ariana Grande has reportedly pulled out of performing at the Grammy awards following a dispute with producers. One new report claims that Ariana Grande and the team behind the awards show had a disagreement over her song choices.

The entertainment website reported that the 25-year-old singer felt "insulted" when the show's producers refused to let her perform her newest single "7 Rings". While producers eventually compromised by allowing Ari's latest single to be part of a medley, the songstress ended up pulling out after producers insisted that they get to choose the second song.

The source reportedly said such rules were not imposed on other performers at the show.

Rumor has it that the singer will no longer perform, or even attend the Grammys at all!

Grande's decision is especially noteworthy given how the Grammys used her image on a series of promotional billboards across American cities.

"7 Rings" was played a record breaking 15 million times in its first 24 hours on Spotify and follows global smash "Thank U, Next" that everyone is probably still humming along to in their sleep.

Gaga is also nominated in the best pop solo performance category for Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?). The Grammys did not immediately respond for comment on whether Grande would be performing Sunday.

Ariana Grande isn't attending the 2019 GRAMMYs, despite rumours.

The Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
