R. Kelly: Gayle King Says Kelly Tried To Control Girlfriends' CBS Interview

New R. Kelly Allegations Surface in Detroit on the Heels of his Arrest for Child Support

R. Kelly is under investigation in Detroit for a separate sexual assault case. He said he never sexually abused women or controlled their lives. When King mentioned that the two women are much younger than him, Kelly said, "I don't look at "much younger" than me, I just look at 'legal'".

"When I first met Robert, my parents told me to lie about my age", she said.

He added, "I'm talking about the power of social media".

Embattled R&B star R. Kelly angrily blamed his ex-wife for "destroying" his name and claimed other people stole from his bank accounts during new portions of an interview that aired Thursday, a day after he was sent to jail for not paying child support. "I've been hearing things and seeing things on all of the blogs and I'm just exhausted".

"We don't know what the victim is going to tell us, certainly, depending on what we find out, it will be up to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office to make a decision as to whether or not there will be charges", Craig said. He said Kelly did not have the whole amount because he has not been able to work.

Kelly was detained just over a week after he pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Some charges involve underage girls, and some an alleged sex cult.

"When he started screaming it terrified me so when he started screaming I immediately turned the TV because again I felt like I was revisiting him yelling at me", said Asante McGee, one of R. Kelly's accusers.

After R. Kelly's explosive interview with Gayle King, where he denied allegations of sexual abuse, the singer's live-in girlfriends are speaking out. "At no point was money given to the Savage Family, discussed with the Savage Family, requested by the Savage family or offered to the Savage family".

Syria fighters say IS still holds civilians, slowing attack
Fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stand together near the village of Baghouz, Deir Al Zor province, Syria, March 1, 2019. President Donald Trump told U.S. soldiers that the final shred of the IS caliphate had already fallen.

Kelly has suggested that the parents of both women handed them over to him - a charge the families have denied.

Kelly told King during their interview that his ex was not telling the truth when she alleged abuse in the docuseries.

"We never "sold" our daughter to him or anyone else ..." I've done bad things.' But I did think on some level, he would have a moment of reflection, he would have contrition.

Later in the interview, she broke down in tears. And, she didn't hold back. "I gave you 30 years of my f-ing career!"

"Why would I? How stupid would it be for R. Kelly, with all I've been through in my way, way past, to hold somebody, let alone four, five, six, 50 you said, how stupid would I be to do that?"

Kelly was arrested just several hours after his interview with the reporter because he failed to pay child support. One of his best-known hits is I Believe I Can Fly. In his heart, mind, body and soul he believes he's done no wrong. "Yes. And they said, because if they ever have to blackmail him - what they're trying to do now - they can use it against him, which is exactly what they're doing", replied Clary.

In a statement to CNN in August 2017, Kelly publicist Trevian Kutti denied Pace's allegations.
