Risk of severe storms this evening/overnight

An Early Look At Thursday’s Storms

Tomorrow brings thunderstorms. From tomorrow evening through the overnight storms will move from west to east.

The Storm Prediction Center believes a few locations, could experience "significant" severe weather with 75mph+ winds or an EF2+ tornado.

A Level 2 or "Slight Risk" has been posted for all of north and central Georgia through that time frame. Flood warnings reached as far north as central Indiana.

As the storm tracks eastward, it will extend from IN south to Florida by late Thursday, hitting the Atlanta area that night and the Atlantic coast the next day. These can fall on power lines, vehicles, and houses.

Overall, there were 130 storm reports for hail, some as large as baseballs, in Oklahoma and damaging winds gusting up to 74 miles per hour in Texas.

If a watch is issued, that means conditions are favorable for severe weather to develop, or they're already developing.

However, many came to his defense over Ocasio-Cortez's criticism due to his status as a decorated war veteran. The fund, which helps first responders and others harmed in the 9/11 attacks, is up for renewal.

So we too should see mainly wind/hail issues as the storms approach Friday afternoon. Strong storms covered much of Louisiana.

'Dallas and Oklahoma City, from there on eastward is probably at greatest threat from damaging winds, flooding downpours and tornadoes, ' said Feerick.

Thursday is expected to be sunny with a high near 74 degrees.

"There is considerable damaging wind potential with this storm", the tweet said.

Huge swaths of the South, Midwest and East Coast are under the gun for severe weather as states still recovering from last weekend's tornadoes hunker down for more. A tornado or other type of severe weather is happening in your area, or it's about to happen. Temperatures will briefly cool below average through Saturday morning but clear seasonable weather is then anticipated into early next week.
