Brie Larson recalls secrecy behind 'Avengers: Endgame' on 'Tonight Show'

Avengers Endgame actress Brie Larson says'I came into Marvel at a really special time

During an appearance Wednesday on The Tonight Show, the Captain Marvel star discussed her box office smash hit and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, which she shot before her solo superhero outing.

"Larson recalled how despite doing the scene, she didn't get to see the final end result until the end credits of Captain Marvel which featured herself arriving to meet the Avengers for the first time".

As for Brie Larson's experience on the 13 Going on 30 set, the actress says it's what inspired her to be a director.

"I flew to Atlanta to start shooting, had no idea what I was doing", she told Jimmy Fallon of filming Endgame.

Mark thought it was the first time he worked with Brie as he didn't realise that she'd had a small role as one of the mean girl gang the "Six Chicks" in the 2004 film - which celebrated its 15th anniversary on Tuesday (23.04.19).

The 29-year-old went on to shoot her standalone film Captain Marvel, which hit cinemas in March, and that was equally shrouded in secrecy.

But the real payoff here comes when Captain Marvel gives Nick Fury that special cosmic pager that he can use to call her during an emergency.

How cool, I didn't know that. But according to her, they actually weren't in the same scene together. A miniature version of Brie Larson was in 13 Going on 30, and we never knew! "What room am I in?'" "And then I had the pleasure at the Captain Marvel premiere and seeing what the scene was and going 'Oh, that's what that meant". Her instructions for the scene were to look around at the others in the room, but she wasn't told who was around. It looks like her a lot. It's the flawless time to revisit it, even if the two don't work alongside each other in the comedy. One could argue it's because Yon-Rogg (Jude Law) is controlling her mind and likely keeps her from venturing into such territory, but even so, what's to stop her from quickly removed that chip from her neck in order to keep her powers?
