Helmetgate compromise floated as Antonio Brown returns to Raiders

National Football League teams evidently stopped supplying Brown's preferred helmet model 10 years ago, but apparently there are a few newer models out there.

While Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown says he won't play football unless he can wear his old helmet that is now banned by the NFL, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady acknowledged that it's been an adjustment for him to get used to a new helmet. "I'm excited about this season appreciate all the concerns about my feet!"

Brown's helmet drama hasn't died yet.

In fact, our buddy Raider Cody has already found one for sale on EBay. He knew that the Air Advantage was discontinued in 2011, and thus a helmet manufactured in 2010 or 2011 would fall under the NFL's 10-year window for safety standards. The NFL is only allowing helmets approved by NOCSAE.

Brown's coach Jon Gruden recently voiced support for his star player.

Jameela Jamil Says Prince Harry Interrupted Her Phone Call with Meghan Markle
And he sympathises with her husband Harry, as he wouldn't like to see his wife smooching with someone else on the big screen. She has also reportedly been going for long walks around the gardens. "She said she loved The Good Place,' Jamil said".

Schefter had previously reported that Brown had a two-hour conference call with league officials on Friday to argue why he should be allowed to wear the helmet he prefers, and not one the league requires. This had to be a tough pill so swallow for a guy who has basically had everyone around him bend over backwards for him no matter how ridiculous the demand.

Why is he offering only a signed, practice-worn Raiders helmet when he's a multimillionaire?

Brown's reference to his feet is a reference to him getting frostbite-like symptoms after using a cryotherapy machine in France without the proper footwear.

"We hope Antonio is back here soon because he's exciting to be around", Gruden said.

One player told Silver it's "honestly the most insane thing I have ever heard".
