Disney+ Is Hitting Australia In November (And We Know The Price)

The Mandalorian is among the new shows that will be available on Disney

Monthly subscriptions for Disney+ will be $8.99 Canadian and Australian dollars, almost 7 euros in the Netherlands, and $9.99 New Zealand dollars.

Earlier this year, Disney Plus announced it would be launched in the United States on November 12, 2019. According to CBC, Canadian residents will only need to pay $8.99 a month or $89.99 per year to gain complete access to the service's shows and movies. Shortly thereafter, Australia and New Zealand will be granted access to the service on November 19.

In the US, access to Disney Plus will cost $6.99 per month. As for Australia and New Zealand, the Disney+ will be priced at $9AUD/$90 and $10NZD/$100 respectively.

Those looking to subscribe will be able to do so by going directly to Disney+ or via in-app purchases.

Medical examiner rules on Jeffrey Epstein's prison death
The second staff member on Epstein duty, a woman, was a fully trained guard, according to the person briefed on the matter. Two staffers have been placed on administrative leave and the MCC's warden has been reassigned pending an investigation.

At launch, Disney+ will be available on Apple TV (tvOS); Android mobile devices; Android TV; Chromecast; Desktop web browsers; iPad (iPadOS); iPhone (iOS); PlayStation 4; Roku streaming players; Roku TV and Xbox One.

In an announcement Monday, Disney announced that its new platform will be coming to most of the devices you'd expect.

Like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming services, Disney+ will use algorithms to target viewers and will have multiple user profiles. In fact, as a way of adding to the pile, Disney recently announced reboots of the HOME ALONE and NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM properties as well.

Disney's long-rumored streaming service will finally open its doors on November 12. Disney will also start to make their expansive film library accessible via the app, though that will likely be rolled out over the course of several years. We don't know if the two companies actually have a plan on how to execute it just yet.
