Iran boosting effort to give Hezbollah precision-missile capability — Israeli military

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

This was the first clear Israeli attack against Lebanon since 2006.

In 2016-2018, Iran and Hezbollah found it hard to implement the missile conversion in the new sites, and failed to meet their production targets.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday told French President Emmanuel Macron that "those who provide shelter for aggression and arming" will not be spared, in an apparent reference to Lebanon and Israel's claims that Iran and Hizbullah are building missile production facilities on Lebanese soil.

There was also an attack on a Palestinian terror group's positions in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, near the Syrian border, and the crash of two drones said to be carrying explosives in a Hezbollah-controlled area of Beirut that are alleged to be by Israel.

"Israel would be mistaken to think that it can win a war against Hezbollah and that the resistance is weak, because both Israel and Hezbollah are exerting much efforts to increase their confrontation capacities", Zasypkin was quoted as saying by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

According to the IDF, it was chose to expose the project in order to deny Hezbollah the ability to hide the existence of its Iranian-sponsored manufacturing sites in Lebanon - despite the risk that the revelation may expose just how much intelligence Israel has gathered over the years about these sites.

Huawei told it can't use Google apps on new phones
While there has been a temporary reprieve announced by the USA government, it does not apply to new products such as the Mate 30. Without the ability to ship devices with Google's own YouTube, Chrome, Gmail or Google Maps, Huawei's hardware offering suffers.

Precision-guided missiles could pose a counter-balance to Israel's overwhelming military force in any future war, with the capacity to home in on and knock out core infrastructure sites.

The pre-dawn attack involved two drones - one exploded and caused damage to a Hezbollah-run media centre and another crashed without detonating due to technical failure.

Mohammad Hossein-Zadeh Hejaziis a military commander in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

On Sunday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said his forces would "bring down" Israeli drones found in Lebanon's airspace.

The Lebanese army announced Wednesday that it had shot down an Israeli drone. Almost 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and 158 Israelis, mostly soldiers, were killed in the conflict.

"Iran is endangering Lebanon", Conricus said.
